THE CONSERVATIVE CHOICE IS CLEAR: VOTE BILLY GARRETT IN THE JUNE 25 RUNOFF ELECTION

There are some very concerning revelations about my runoff opponent Charles Bumgardner, who has kept his views on the Second Amendment and the Pro-Life movement quiet up to this point and we know why.

Federal Election Commission records show that Mr. Bumgardner has donated thousands of dollars (HERE and HERE) to the 3rd party organization, the Alliance Party of South Carolina, whose platform openly opposes the Second Amendment and calls it a "public health crisis." Their solutions include universal background checks, support for red flag laws, mandatory 7-day waiting periods, and bans on gun modifications.

Mr. Bumgardner's personal Facebook page also reflects multiple shared posts from The Alliance Party showing further support of their cause.

They also recently praised the defeat of a pro-life bill in South Carolina saying that it would have "hindered healthcare of millions of women." When given the opportunity to clarify his views on abortion, Mr. Bumgardner said that Fetal Heartbeat and Protection from Abortion Act created "bizarre guidelines" for medical personnel to follow. South Carolina Citizens for Life have admonished Mr. Bumgardner for those comments stating that those comments could not be further from the truth.

This is not what we, as conservatives, believe.

While President Trump was working to elect conservative leaders in South Carolina who will have his back, Mr. Bumgardner was funding the opposition. 

As your State Senator, I will not back down from my support for the Second Amendment or for the Pro-Life movement. I voted for Open Carry. I voted for and co-sponsored Constitutional Carry. I am endorsed by the NRA with an A Rating, and I have the backing of law enforcement leaders from all across District 10.

On Life, there is no greater friend to the pro-life movement than Senator Billy Garrett. I voted for, and co-sponsored, the Heartbeat Bill and I am endorsed by South Carolina’s premier right-to-life group: SC Citizens for Life Action PAC.
